TO KNOW ME
Do you know me as well as you think you do? What brings me passion? Passion can be taken to a different level if only the other partner was willing. Willing to explore the unknown and trust his partner’s words when she says it’s OK. Free your spirit that has become accustomed to the ordinary. Live life as you have never lived before. Don’t be afraid to try the unfamiliar. Unfamiliar…being the unusual and exotic. Take my hand and explore life with me.
What brings me confidence? Confidence can be defeated in a split second by a single word from the one that says he loves me. Love, what is love? Does your sense of love even measure up to my sensual, compassionate, effortless, free-flowing emotion of powerful passion waiting to embark on your humble soul? Can you accept my love in full force? Will it overwhelm you and cause you to back away and refuse what I have to give?
Look into my eyes and tell me what you see? Do you see the years of hurt, deceit and lies that others have afflicted upon my inner-self? Can you see the painful, life threatening agony that enters my life on a daily occurrence reminding me that tomorrow isn’t always promised so live today as if it were your last? Look into my eyes and tell me what you see? Do you see the excitement and animation that has overshadowed the pain and heart ache? Do you see the kindness and caring that has emerged from the years of being dismissed and left for someone else to care for? Can you see a lighter spirit, one that has found love, one that has thanked God for blessing me with such a humble soul? An individual willing to give me total happiness and offer only himself as he truly is.
No need to mask the true you. Eventually, everyone will see you for you. And if you are looking for acceptance, you must first accept yourself. The lack of acceptance can make you do things that are out of your character. It will make you question why you do what you do. It will make you wonder who you have turned into.
To know me is to love me and accept me as I am. Do you know me as well as you think you do?
Rarely have we been graced here with such an in-depth and honest blog expression of one's self, the struggles that this one has experienced, and the ultimate triumph that this one has acknowledged is the fundamental acceptance of self. We are moved by this incredible piece, "To Know Me", but not just for ourselves. We are persuaded by your sharing of your personal experiences to be moved for YOU, Chrystina Daniels; and we all celebrate the victory, alongside of you, that comes with a full embrace of ourselves-just the way we are. Solidarity!
